MICAT boss says Norway promises US$4m Print E-mail

Information Minister Lawrence Bropleh says the government of Norway has announced four million U.S. dollars to Liberia’s reconstruction program.


Dr. Bropleh said two million of the amount is intended for the accelerated learning program of government.
 

Dr. Bropleh explained the balance two million would go towards the reconstruction of infrastructure trust fund of government.
 

The Information Minister said the Development Minister of Norway announced the package last week when developing ministers from five countries visited Liberia.
 

In another development, Minister Bropleh has announced government’s resolve to fully reactivate the Liberia News Agency.
 

The Information boss said official program marking the reactivation of LINA would shortly take place in Tubmanburg, Bomi County.
