The Malaria Control Program at the Ministry of Health has stressed the importance of a malaria advocacy program to ensure success in rolling back malaria.

The Program’s Manager urged partners of the control program to forge forward and look at new strategies in fighting the deadly disease.

Dr. Joel Jones said partners of the program should continue to work with the program to create more awareness about the danger of malaria.

Dr. Jones maintained partners of the Malaria Control Program also need to increase their efforts to attain better results in the country.

He spoke Friday at a one-day Malaria Advocacy meeting for Roll Back Malaria partners in Liberia.

The meeting was in continuation of the program’s efforts to sensitize and seek the support of key partners in the prevention and control of malaria.
