The Liberia Petroleum Refining Company has opened the bid for the expansion project of its facilities in the country.

The Managing Director of the LPRC said three companies, two British and one Nigerian, are named to bid for the project.

Mr. Harry Greaves told a news conference the three companies were among five companies that were short-listed but two did not turn out.

According to Mr. Greaves, the company whose proposal would include the sub-contraction of local Liberian firm would be given preference.

The LPRC’s Managing Director is hopeful that the expansion project of the entity’s facilities would commence this dry season.
