National Mandingo Caucus sets up Endowment Fund Print E-mail

The National Mandingo Caucus has established an education Endowment Fund to sponsor qualified Liberian Mandingo students attending the University of Liberia.
 

A statement from the caucus said the endowment fund is named in honor of one Liberia’s most respected legendary leader, King Sao Boso Kamara.
 

According to a the release, the Executive Committee of the National Mandingo Caucus has raised over one million Liberian Dollar to support the scholarship program.
 

At a special meeting, Former Associate Justice of the Supreme Court, Justice Soko Sackor was appointed to oversee the scholarship scheme.
 

The release said the Chairman of the Caucus vowed the scholarship program would be a prominent scheme of the National Mandingo Caucus.
 

Mr. Musa Bility assured the scholarship program would start with students at the UL and later extended to other private universities in the country.
