A 16-year old girl has been arrested and charged with criminal attempt to commit suicide in Ganta, Nimba County.
According to our correspondent, Princess Gaye attempted hanging herself this morning for fear of been beaten to death by her father.
Our correspondent said Princess, who is known for stealing said her father told her that he would beat her to death if she stole again.
Our correspondent said Princess attempted killing herself when she was accused this morning of stealing a cell-phone.
Princess’ father Marathon James was arrested and charged with threatening the girl but denied the charge.
