Anthony Laffor is back in training with SuperSport United.
This is after he suffered what looked like a serious injury against Mamelodi Sundowns two weeks ago.
Laffor was kicked in the ribs by Sundowns’ Shere Lekgothoane in an explosive MTN8 semifinal match and had to spend that night in hospital for observation.
However, he has fully recovered and said that he was grateful the injury wasn’t too serious.
Laffor recounted, he went down and couldn’t continue playing and also feared for the worst.
Fortunately for him, the doctor his injury wasn’t too serious.
The Liberian striker stayed out for two weeks and is now ready to kick the ball again.
The 23-year-old Liberian international striker said that he was feeling no after effects of the injury and looked forward to fighting his way back into the team.
Laffor said he couldn’t wait to get back into the thick of things and had looked forward to SuperSport’s Absa Premiership match against Platinum Stars.
However, the Liberian international was not included in the squad that SuperSport won.
