Former employees of the defunct Agriculture and Cooperative Development Bank have demanded salary arrears and other benefits from government.

According to the Secretary of the 166 former ACDB employees, government owes them nearly one million U.S. dollars.

Mr. Sampson Bortey said it has been long since authorities of the Agriculture Ministry assured them government would pay the money through the ministry.

Mr. Bortey said the last option of the former employees of the defunct ACDB would be to inform President Sirleaf about their plight.
