Juror attacked in Buchanan, in critical condition

A juror serving on the August Term at the 2^nd Judicial Circuit court has been attacked by some unknown men in Grand Bassa County.

Our correspondent said Mr. Leroy Zeegar received several wounds on his body.

Leroy explained that the men entered his house in the Pipeline Community Friday at about 3 in the morning.

According to him, the men chopped him all over his body and left him unconscious.

According to our correspondent, the victim is in a critical condition and is admitted at the Government Hospital undergoing treatment.

There has been no arrest so far in connection with the act and the cause of the attack has not been officially established.

However, Leroy was a member of a jury that brought down a guilty verdictfor murder against one Judoe Memei last week Wednesday.

The Presiding Judge sentenced Judoe to life imprisonment.
