Woman purged of murder charge in Buchanan

The Buchanan Magisterial Court has released three women charged with murder.

The women and three others were charged in connection with the brutal murder of one Mary Lorwhea in July this year.

The Magistrate Court released the accused because state lawyers dropped the murder charge.

According to the prosecution, the lack of sufficient evidence to prosecute was responsible for its decision.

The state however, reserves the right to re-file when the need arises.
