River Gee County Attorney arrested

Report from River Gee County says the County Attorney has been arrested and put behind bar.

Attorney Anthony Saah was arrested based on the orders of the Resident Judge Charles Williams of the 15^th Judicial Circuit Court.

Judge Williams ordered the arrest of County Attorney Saah for illegally appointing Justices of the Peace in the county.

Resident Judge Williams alleged that the County Attorney also collected money from those he appointed.

The Judge ordered County Attorney Saah to revoke the appointments and refund the money he allegedly took from his appointees.

Meanwhile, Judge Williams appointed City Solicitor, Stephen Weah as Acting County Attorney.
