Armed men operating under the cover of darkness have inflicted several deep wounds on Deputy Immigration Commissioner Archie Williams.

The unknown men reportedly attacked and chopped Commissioner Williams while attempting to enter his house on Third Street at about ten in the night.

Eyewitnesses told Star Radio the robbers used cutlasses and other sharp objects to butcher the defenseless Deputy Immigration boss.

According to the eyewitnesses the men chopped Mr. Williams all over his body including chest, neck and head.

The eyewitnesses further explained that two cell phones belonging to the Deputy Immigration boss stolen by the attackers.

After the incident, the robbers reportedly responded to a call claiming that their action justified and that bigger actions should be expected.

The robbers were quoted as saying that after long struggles, they could not even   feed their wives while the big people continue to enjoy the country.

Deputy immigration boss Archie Williams is reported to be in a critical condition and journalists are barred from seeing him.

Meanwhile, a Representative of Montserrado County has called for the public execution of anyone found guilty of armed robbery.

Representative Dave Koomey said though government has passed a law that makes armed robbery a non-billable offense, it would be expedient to include execution.

Representative Koomey spoke to Star radio at the scene of another armed robbery incident in Gardnerville where residents mobbed an armed robber to death.

The Representative recalled about five persons have died so far in the area in the hands of criminals.

He said the best thing the government should do to curtail the rampant act is to begin public execution.

He commended the Gardnersville Police detail for its swift move into the crime scene.
