The President of the Liberia Council of Churches has pleaded with the Senate to accept the decision of the Supreme Court to reinstate suspected Pro Temp, Isaac Nyenabo.

Bishop John Innis said accepting the Supreme Court’s ruling would mean respecting the distinction and coordination that bind the three braches of government.

Dr. Innis also said when the Senate adheres to the ruling, it would win the trust and respect of the Liberian people and the international community.

It can be recalled Bishop Innis led a LCC delegation to the Senate to obtain first hand information regarding the on-going leadership crisis.

That meeting ended in deadlock.
