One person has been kidnapped in a land dispute in Voinjama District, Lofa County.  

A 33-year old youth leader David Ballayan recently went missing while on his rice farm between Sammie and Lawulazu Towns.
 

The people of Sammie Town recently matched through Lawulazu with cutlasses and single barrel guns in demand of their missing kinsman.
 

Our correspondent said school activities have come to a standstill due to the recent reprisal action by the people of Sammie town on Lawulazu.
 

The conflict between Sammie and Lawulazu Towns has lasted for over a year.
 

According to our correspondent, the Civil Affairs of the UN mission and local government officials had tried to intervene.
 

Sammie
Town is predominantly Kissi while Lawulazu is of the Lorma ethnic group.
