The Bong Motorcycle Union has elected a new corps of officers to steer the affairs of the union.
The union elected Sam Elliott as President while Bardabu Harris was elected Treasurer.
The Positions of Speaker, Vice Presidents for Administration and Operations were won on white ballots.
Also, the General and Financial Secretaries positions remain vacant as no one applied for the posts.
Report from Bong County says credible institutions including UNMIL, FIND National Elections Commission and the Search for Common Ground observed the process.
The Search for Common Ground funded elections brought together two hundred twenty-six motorcyclists in the central provisional city of Gbarnga.
Prior to the elections, the union was engulfed with a serious leadership crisis on allegation of financial mal-practices.
