The Salvation Army Church has set up a Secretariat to manage its school system in Liberia.

The Church’s Commanding officer said the secretariat will have the responsibility to critique the system and make improvement.

Lt. Col. Peter Dali told reporters besides putting in place the secretariat, several new appointments were made.

According to Lt. Col. Dali the changes were necessary to bring about transparency and accountability in the system.

With the new set up, Lt. Col. Dali said the running of Salvation Schools will no longer be single-handedly done.

Those brought on board include Ernest Suah, Community Development Manager, Taweh Johnson, Technical Training Consultant and Robert Sesay, Director of Education.
