Over 400 school administrators stranded in Ganta Print E-mail

Report from Nimba County says more than 400 elementary school principals from schools in the County are stranded in the commercial city of Ganta.
 

Our correspondent said the principals have come to receive grant from the government as operational funds to run their schools.
 

According to our correspondent, government has waived all tuitions in the various elementary schools.
 

He said the principals received a check of over six million Liberian Dollars but cannot be encashed by the Central Bank.
 

Our correspondent said the Central bank has however, begun the payment of regular salaries to the teachers in the county.
