Grand Bassa County Superintendent Julia Duncan Cassel has pledged government’s support to the completion of the Zondo Town Junior High School.
Superintendent Duncan Cassell gave the assurance when she visited Zindo town in District Number 4.
She said the visit was to familiarize her with development activities and problems affecting citizens in the area.
Superintendent Duncan Cassell expressed happiness over the high number of children attending school in the town, especially girls.
She praised the people for prioritizing education which she said signals their support to government’s free and compulsory primary education program.
The Grand Bassa Superintendent pledged to meet the County Legislative Caucus to put in place the necessary modalities toward the school project.
Meanwhile, Grand Bassa County Senator Gbehzongar Finley has urged the Zondo Town citizens to continue to invest in their children education.
Senator Finley pledged 50 chairs, 400 pencils, 10 boxes of chalk and two footballs to the students.
Zondo Town has been in the focus of public attention since an expatriate Plantation Manager of the Liberia Agriculture Company was murdered in the area in November 2007.
