johnson_sirleaf_mediatesPresident Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf is expected to mediate in a dispute involving some citizens of Sanoyea District in Bong County.

The Chairman of the Bong Legislative caucus said the Liberian leader would travel to the district to amicably address the confusion.

Representative George Mulbah said the confusion surrounds a petition sent to the Senate by some residents of Sanoyea, mainly youths.

He said the youths wrote the Senate, rejecting the appointment of the Commissioner of Sanoyea district.

Representative Mulbah said the Bong Legislative caucus asked President Sirleaf to visit Sanoyea to resolve the dispute.

According to him authorities of the county and the aggrieved residents would participate in the discussion to enhance development in Sanoyea.
