TRC completes National Conflict Mapping Survey Print E-mail

The Truth and Reconciliation Commission says it has completed a National Conflict Mapping Survey to identify the threat to peace in Liberia.


According to the TRC, the survey focused on looming issues that have the potential to endanger the Country’s long term stability.
 

The TRC said the survey was conducted in seventy-five percent of the administrative districts of the fifteen political sub-divisions of Liberia.
 

It said the survey was followed by consultations with government officials, civil society organizations, political leaders and the traditional Councils.
 

A TRC statement said the findings of the survey would be released on Monday.
 

The TRC said the report will be presented by the European Commission to for comments, endorsement and the appropriate action.
