Acid victim appeals for prompt action

A seventeen year-old girl who suffered acid attack in Salayea District, Lofa County has appealed to government for prompt action.

Annie Kokolo, a resident of Yarpuah town seriously got wounded recently in an acid attack by her former brother-in-law only known as Big-boy.

Big-boy of Telemai town has since escaped the community and is said to be on the run.

A Representative of the District Moses Kollie has called for the arrest of Big-boy for the sake of justice in the District.

Our Correspondent said Annie’s hair and skin are currently in a bad condition and not attending medical care.

Annie told our correspondent her sister had since decided to devorce Big-boy due to his sexual deformity.
