Firestone reports attack on one of its employee Print E-mail

The Firestone Rubber Company has again reported an attack on one of its employees in Margibi County.


A statement issued in Monrovia said one Samuel Jones, an employee of the company sustained wounds on his head and left arm.
 

The attack reportedly launched early Wednesday morning was allegedly carried out by men believed to be armed robbers.
 

The release said the robbers made away with two cell phones and other computer accessories.
 

No arrest has so far been made.
 

The victim is reportedly undergoing medical treatment at the Firestone Medical Center.
 

Men believed to be illicit tapers during the past weeks reportedly attacked another employee of Firestone with acid.
 

Mr. Charles Kollie sustained burns on his ears, legs and other parts of his body.

Liberians are fast forgotten. In terms of war or genocide alarm is blown and there are international interventions are done but in cases like like this less is done. The country is dying slowly.
