Anti-trafficking organization wants media report investigated Print E-mail

The head of an anti trafficking organization has called for investigation into media reports about the adoption of more than six hundred Liberian children.


The country program manager of world hope international said adoption is the gateway to trafficking.
 

Mr. Wellington Kollie told star radio unless government revisit the 1956 adoption law, Liberians would continue to surfer at the hands of traffickers.
 

Mr. Kollie said weak laws in any country encourage traffickers and other criminals.
 

He said his institution continues to receive reports from parents that their children were adopted without their consent.
